Promoting Your Business
Perhaps, you know how difficult it is promoting your business, especially if it has just started up. Today, when money is tight, promoting your business, be it a small or big, is indeed a huge challenge. Come to think of it, how will you be able to advertise your business to potential clients without even spending a dime for it?
Worry no more, for there is good news for you. No matter what your business status is, whether you have just started up or been in the industry for years, the following strategies can help you earn a good name and win customers without spending too much of your hard earned money.
Know Your Prospects
Never start advertising without knowing who your target prospects are. Always be specific. This way, you will be able to determine how you will be able to reach each of them. Like for instance, if your potential prospects are working moms, do you think you will be able to reach them through Facebook and other social networking sites or do you think they will try to search for your products on Google?
Get A Website
Having a website is one of the best avenues to promote your business at a low cost. Almost everyone today relies on the web so it will be a sure hit if you’ll get your own website and have your profile, products, and services highlighted there. Having a website is the best opportunity for you to let your business be noticed at no cost at all.
Establish Business Profile On Famous Social Networking Sites
With social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter and Linkedln, promoting your business would be easy and successful. So create your business profile with good description, keywords, and of course your websites links. If there are group conversations talking about specific products like yours, participate in the discussions but make sure you don’t spam them with those product promos of yours.
Get Listed
There are lots of promotion you can gain by getting your business listed on as many business directories, websites, and yellow pages that you can find online. Though it may take some of your time and effort, this way of promoting your business is well worth in the end as there are lots of people who consult it. And take note, this will not require you to spend that much as lots of business directories get you listed for free.
Establishing a business name without money involved is probably no longer possible, but promoting your business with a little money and a lot of effort, will get your business noticed for sure.

3 Tips For Starting An Online Business
The benefits of starting an online business are obvious: being able to work from home, growing your income to the extent that you desire, creating a reliable source of income, which runs on its own and enables you to quit working. However, there are certain steps to take when starting with any internet business. Otherwise it may take you more time, before you start seeing any results. If you’re planning to start a web based business, then here are three simple tips, which can greatly speed your way to success. 1. Choose a working online business model - There are different options to choose from: affiliate marketing, selling eBooks, providing a web hosting reseller service, offering freelance services like writing articles or selling photos, blogging, creating a membership site which offers education on a monthly fee. The list goes on. Many people start with affiliate marketing, since it is a simple, yet powerful web based business idea, which needs no prior experience to get started with. You begin promoting products and services of other online companies. Whenever you help to make a sale, you get paid a commission. The marketing skills that you learn can assist you with any online business in the future. 2. Join a mentorship program - Once you choose a working business model, try to find an online training program, which will give you the necessary knowledge. There are free mentorship programs, which require only your name and email address. They show you how to monetize your web based business in the easiest way. Once you know exactly which actions to take, it is possible to focus on income producing activities, ensuring that your time is spent in the right way. 3. Take daily action - It takes some time and work to build an online business. Take action on a daily basis, no matter how little steps, to give yourself an opportunity to succeed. Learn to encourage yourself, since this is a new process for you. As you start out, it might often seem as an impossible task. But if you have a working business model, and if you know exactly which steps to take, then success is only a matter of time. Three tips for starting a web based business are, choosing a working online business model, joining a mentorship program, and taking daily action. Starting an online business is not the matter of having enough capital. It is about focusing on one opportunity, and working on it, till it starts giving back. This way you maximize your chances of creating steady income online.

Memorial Day 2008
Hello all:
I know you've all wondered where I've been right?
So here is this years Memorial Day message:
A little history mixed with some comment:
Memorial Day, originally called Decoration Day, is a day of remembrance for those who have died in our nation's service. Memorial Day was officially proclaimed on 5 May 1868 by General John Logan, national commander of the Grand Army of the Republic, and was first observed on 30 May 1868, when flowers were placed on the graves of Union and Confederate soldiers at Arlington National Cemetery.
Traditional observance of Memorial day has diminished over the years. Many Americans nowadays have forgotten the meaning and traditions of Memorial Day instead thinking of it as a day off, store sales, BBQ and the start of summer. At many cemeteries, the graves of the fallen are increasingly ignored, neglected. Some people think the day is for honoring any and all dead, and not just those fallen in service to our country.
But what may be needed to return the solemn, and even sacred, spirit back to Memorial Day is for a return to its traditional day of observance. When Congress made the day into a three-day weekend in 1971, it made it easier for people to be distracted from the spirit and meaning of the day and this has contributed greatly to the general public's nonchalant observance of Memorial Day."
To help re-educate and remind Americans of the true meaning of Memorial Day, the "National Moment of Remembrance" resolution was passed on Dec 2000 which asks that at 3 p.m. local time, for all Americans "To voluntarily and informally observe in their own way a Moment of remembrance and respect, pausing from whatever they are doing for a moment of silence.
Whatever you do today, have fun, be safe BUT most of all, take a moment to honor those that have paid the ultimate price in service to our country. Had it not been for so many great men and women, true American heroes, you and I may not be here today.
See a vet, salute him/her.

Red Fridays
Red Fridays.
Very soon, you will see a great many people wearing Red every
Friday. The reason? Americans who support our troops used to be called the
'silent majority.' We are no longer silent, and are voicing our love
for God, country and home in record breaking numbers. We are not
organized, boisterous or overbearing.
Many Americans, like you, me and all our friends, simply want to
recognize that the vast majority of America supports our troops. Our idea
of showing solidarity and support for our troops with dignity and respect
starts this Friday -- and continues each and every Friday until the troops
all come home, sending a deafening message that .. every red-blooded
American who supports our men and women afar, will wear something red.
By word of mouth, press, TV -- let's make the United States on every
Friday a sea of red much like a homecoming football game in the bleachers.
If every one of us who loves this country will share this with
acquaintances, coworkers, friends, and family, it will not be long before
the USA is covered in RED and it will let our troops know the once
'silent' majority is on their side more than ever, certainly more than the
media lets on.
The first thing a soldier says when asked 'What can we do to make
things better for you?' is. 'We need your support and your prayers.'
Let's get the word out and lead with class and dignity, by example, and
wear something red every Friday.

Photo Knit Quilt
Subject: new photothrow items
Hello PhotoThrow customer:
I wanted to take some time and make you aware of our spring sale.
Dont forget to check out the new Mother's Day throws as well as the specials on the websites that we offer.
In addition, it is time for another new item, We call this one the Photo Knit Patchwork Quilt
Many people have asked us to combine photos and /or make a collage of some kind. I know that some people have tried to do so but with some limitations and problems. Most collages fill a standard size, for example, a 40" x 60" and then the customer tries to fill in the space with the pictures that are needed for the item. The problem with this is that the more the pictures, the smaller each one gets.
Well we have come up with a way to answer that and produce something that is truly unique and exciting.
Rather than have each picture get smaller, why not have each person or subject be the same size?
Rather than make the customer fit into a particular size, why not make something that is UNLIMITED?
Yes, you read that correct !!!
The throw we are talking about is an UNLIMITED size and an UNLIMITED number of subjects in the throw.
Here's how it works:
there are 2 versions to choose from, a 40" wide (3 pictures across) or a 60" wide (4 pictures across).
Each item has a base charge ($15 for the 40"; $20 for the 60")
Then, you pay $15 (40" wide) or $20 (60" wide) for each row of subjects that are to be knit into the PhotoThrow Patchwork.
For example, say you have a picture of a school class of 22 children. We would take each of those children and place them into their own area of the throw. In the example of 22 subjects, there would be 8 rows for the 40" wide (approx. finished size = 40" x 100") or 6 rows (approx. finished size = 60" x 90")
Each picture area measures a generous 11" x 11" and we can go to an UNLIMITED height for an UNLIMITED number of subjects. The bottom has a 6" area for any lettering that you want.
This means that if you needed a team picture of 100 people in it, we could do it and each subject would be the same size.(The final result would be a throw approx. 60" wide by 350").
This might seem a bit confusing at first so please dont hesitate to contact us and we'll be happy to explain to you all the benefits and details.
See the sample here:
Some restrictions will apply. For example, only 1 subject (person, dog, etc) to a square.
Also, please remember that while these sample images show only 3 rows high, we can make an UNLIMITED amount of rows.
These will both be in the Original PhotoThrow section of the distributors pages.
As always, thanks for all your support

5 ColorThrows now being offered
Oh My God, 5 different sizes!!!!!!!
Yes, it's not only unbelievable but true. When we first invented the Original PhotoThrow back in the early 1990's, it was a simple black/white in a standard 40" x 60" size. Since then, over the course of all these years, many improvements have been made to the standard which include a myriad of different product lines, styles and sizes.
At this time, we are very proud indeed to announce that we are offering 5 different sizes in our popular ColorThrow line.
Unlike what you might think and perhaps have even seen, our throws are never printed. In fact, we knit them. That's right, we actually knit an image into a full size throw blanket. These blankets are knit on machines that make bulky knit sweaters and this makes our throws soft and wonderful to drape all around you. Keeping yourself warm with our throws is not just an afterthought. Just think, when you want to wear something close to you, would you rather wear a tapestry or a sweater?
Well PhotoThrow has come out with a whole line of ColorThrows that are suitable for any budget and/or situation.
The line includes the following knitted to your specifications:
30" x 40"
30" x 58"
40" x 60"
54" x 70"
66" x 98"
Of course the prices depend on the size that you want.

Thanks you
