Photo Knit Quilt

Subject: new photothrow items

Hello PhotoThrow customer:
I wanted to take some time and make you aware of our spring sale.
Dont forget to check out the new Mother's Day throws as well as the specials on the websites that we offer.

In addition, it is time for another new item, We call this one the Photo Knit Patchwork Quilt

Many people have asked us to combine photos and /or make a collage of some kind. I know that some people have tried to do so but with some limitations and problems. Most collages fill a standard size, for example, a 40" x 60" and then the customer tries to fill in the space with the pictures that are needed for the item. The problem with this is that the more the pictures, the smaller each one gets.

Well we have come up with a way to answer that and produce something that is truly unique and exciting.
Rather than have each picture get smaller, why not have each person or subject be the same size?

Rather than make the customer fit into a particular size, why not make something that is UNLIMITED?

Yes, you read that correct !!!
The throw we are talking about is an UNLIMITED size and an UNLIMITED number of subjects in the throw.
Here's how it works:
there are 2 versions to choose from, a 40" wide (3 pictures across) or a 60" wide (4 pictures across).
Each item has a base charge ($15 for the 40"; $20 for the 60")
Then, you pay $15 (40" wide) or $20 (60" wide) for each row of subjects that are to be knit into the PhotoThrow Patchwork.

For example, say you have a picture of a school class of 22 children. We would take each of those children and place them into their own area of the throw. In the example of 22 subjects, there would be 8 rows for the 40" wide (approx. finished size = 40" x 100") or 6 rows (approx. finished size = 60" x 90")
Each picture area measures a generous 11" x 11" and we can go to an UNLIMITED height for an UNLIMITED number of subjects. The bottom has a 6" area for any lettering that you want.

This means that if you needed a team picture of 100 people in it, we could do it and each subject would be the same size.(The final result would be a throw approx. 60" wide by 350").

This might seem a bit confusing at first so please dont hesitate to contact us and we'll be happy to explain to you all the benefits and details.
See the sample here:

Some restrictions will apply. For example, only 1 subject (person, dog, etc) to a square.
Also, please remember that while these sample images show only 3 rows high, we can make an UNLIMITED amount of rows.
These will both be in the Original PhotoThrow section of the distributors pages.
As always, thanks for all your support

5 ColorThrows now being offered

Oh My God, 5 different sizes!!!!!!!
Yes, it's not only unbelievable but true. When we first invented the Original PhotoThrow back in the early 1990's, it was a simple black/white in a standard 40" x 60" size. Since then, over the course of all these years, many improvements have been made to the standard which include a myriad of different product lines, styles and sizes.
At this time, we are very proud indeed to announce that we are offering 5 different sizes in our popular ColorThrow line.
Unlike what you might think and perhaps have even seen, our throws are never printed. In fact, we knit them. That's right, we actually knit an image into a full size throw blanket. These blankets are knit on machines that make bulky knit sweaters and this makes our throws soft and wonderful to drape all around you. Keeping yourself warm with our throws is not just an afterthought. Just think, when you want to wear something close to you, would you rather wear a tapestry or a sweater?
Well PhotoThrow has come out with a whole line of ColorThrows that are suitable for any budget and/or situation.
The line includes the following knitted to your specifications:
30" x 40"
30" x 58"
40" x 60"
54" x 70"
66" x 98"
Of course the prices depend on the size that you want.

new web site look

Photothrow, inventors of the ever increasingly popular photo blanket, has recently launched a new look to their web site. The site has a fresher colorful look which accents the company's commitment to the enviornment.
PhotoThrow is also pleased to inform us that they are now capable of adding many other types of personalized photo gift items to their line.
Now, you can order traditional items like photo mugs, mouse pads, t shirts as well as other items.
PhotoThrow became the premiere place for the picture blanket when it invented the product back in the 1990's. Having three children himself, Andy Concilio, company president and inventor of the product, wanted to give people a new way to express their love and emotions to , for and with their loved ones.
Having a career in the sweater industry made Mr. Concilio able to understand the special feel that someone has for a loved one and was able to translate that along with his knowledge of knittinh, into what has grown to be a new industry.
Others have now tried to duplicate the products produced by PhotoThrow, a New Jersey based company, but none have been able to come close to the in genius inter twining of knitting and photography.
